Very close to El Corcal de Liébana is the Casa Fofi restaurant, a historic establishment founded in 1865 and renowned for its traditional Liébana cuisine. It’s the perfect place to discover the typical flavors of Cantabrian gastronomy in the heart of the Liébana Valley, with specialties such as cocido lebaniego (a hearty stew), red and white beans, roast suckling lamb, and local beef.
Casa Fofi offers all the comforts of home to its guests, with à la carte dining, daily menus, and the option of booking half-board. The restaurant also has a bar, ideal for enjoying a cozy atmosphere after a day exploring the Picos de Europa mountains and the area around Potes.
